CoachQTerms of Service
These Terms govern your use of CoachQ, an AI youth-soccer practice planner operated by Upstate Leis LLC (“CoachQ”, “we”, “us”), at coachqapp.com. By signing in or using CoachQ you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use CoachQ.
1. Beta service
CoachQ is currently a beta. Features may change, be limited or be removed, and the service may be unavailable or contain errors. We may change, suspend or end the beta, or move to paid plans, at any time. We will tell you about material changes that affect you.
2. Who may use CoachQ
CoachQ is for adults (18 or older) who coach or plan youth soccer. Access is by invite code. Keep your code private, do not share it, and tell us if you think it has been misused. You are responsible for activity under your code.
3. AI-generated content and your responsibility
CoachQ uses artificial intelligence to create practice plans, diagrams and suggestions. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your team. Plans are suggestions, not professional advice. You are responsible for deciding whether each exercise is safe and appropriate for your players’ ages, abilities, number, equipment, field and conditions, and for supervising your sessions, following your club’s and governing body’s rules, and meeting your own safeguarding, first-aid and insurance obligations. Always adapt or skip anything that does not look safe.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- enter names, photos, contact details or other personal information about players, parents or other individuals, or any sensitive information;
- use CoachQ for anything unlawful, harmful, harassing or deceptive;
- try to access accounts or data that are not yours, probe or disrupt the service, or bypass usage limits or security measures;
- use automated tools to scrape, copy or overload the service, or reverse-engineer it;
- resell, sublicense or publicly redistribute CoachQ or its output as a competing service.
We may apply fair-use limits (for example, a cap on practices generated per hour).
5. Your content and our output
You keep ownership of what you enter. You give us permission to process it as needed to run CoachQ, including sending it to our AI provider to generate plans. Subject to these Terms, you may use the plans CoachQ generates for you for your own coaching, including printing and sharing them with your team and club. Because AI output may be similar for different users, we do not guarantee that it is unique.
CoachQ’s software, design, name, logo and other materials belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you no rights to them except to use the service as intended.
6. Feedback
If you send us suggestions or survey responses, we may use them to improve CoachQ without obligation to you.
7. Third-party services
CoachQ relies on third-party providers (such as Anthropic for AI and Render for hosting). We are not responsible for their services, and their availability can affect CoachQ.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using CoachQ at any time and can ask us to close your access. We may suspend or end your access, with or without notice, if you break these Terms, misuse the service or create risk for others, or if we end the beta.
9. Disclaimers
CoachQ is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Saved practices and drafts are stored in your browser and can be lost; keep your own copy of anything important.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoachQ and its owners, officers and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of CoachQ. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. In particular, we are not liable for injuries, losses or claims arising from how a practice is run, and to the extent permitted by law our total liability for any claim relating to CoachQ will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.
11. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses and costs arising from your misuse of CoachQ, your breach of these Terms, or the way you run sessions with your players.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Courts located in South Carolina will have jurisdiction over disputes, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as CoachQ develops. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use CoachQ after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
